If you are wondering what promise he kept, look HERE .
10th win for Sir Beckett ... I so love this man ...
"With Beckett likely to make just one more start before the American League All-Star squad is announced on July 1, the right-hander looks like a near lock to be selected among the best of the best for the first time in his career. "
This will make me so happy ... I voted for all of my BoSoxBoys to make the all star team ... no doubt about it !

The BIG Schill update:
MRI taken yesterday shows no structural damage. The big guy had a cortizone shot and won't pick up a ball until Friday. He said on WEEI radio this morning (you can stream our sports talk station off the internet 24 x 7 (except for the Red Sox games: http://www.weei.com/)) that he's doubtful for Sunday's start. Franconia was just on the radio (has a weekly spot on Wednesdays at noon) and he said we'll see. He's flying out to meet the team in San Diego on Thursday!
I thought I'd share since it sounds like you're far away from Boston. I'm sitting in a high-rise "at the top of the Hub of Boston" looking down on Fenway Park, with my ear to the Red Sox news waves and thought you'd like to know that Curt is okay!
Great win. Great Yankee loss! 9 up!
Thank you so much for the local update! I am about 1,300 driving miles from Boston, so I am grateful for any updates on my BoSox ...
I am glad Schill will be ok, maybe a few days rest is just what the doctor ordered ... rest the arm up a little bit. I have complete faith in him - after all, he's one of our 2004 forever loved boys ...
True, very true! I just met Curt's wife a few weeks back. I'm part of a group that's building a mini-Fenway Park in Massachustts. Licensed by MLB and the Boston Red Sox. We had an event a few weeks back at Fenway and invited all the Red Sox wives to come to our Auction. Shonda was the only one who came, stayed the whole night and even threw in 4 of her own seats at Fenway to the highest bidder of the #38 license plate. Here's our blog w/pictures from the event: http://www.kidsreplicaballpark.org/MFP_blog.html
You don't have to post this Novy. I just wanted to share this with you! I'm in Boston w/ ties to the Red Sox family! Just wanted to share
I checked it out - that is very exciting. Fenway Park is such an amazing place to begin with, and to make a replica for the kids to play games in is just amazing. I wouldn't even mind visiting it the next time I visit MA.
The auction looked like a lot of fun, and sounds like a lot of money was raised. Isn't it amazing to see the number of people who have such a passion for the Red Sox?
The passion here in Boston is absolutely unbelievable! The groundbreaking is going to happen soon. Hopefully it will be open to playing ball by the fall. The nice thing is that during the winter. There's going to be a BIG bubble over it and we will have winter leagues, so boys and girls from ages 6 to 17 can play ball year-round! Once the construction starts we will post pictures on the blog on our progress! Love to have you visit when it's opened!!!!
